Well it’s good that they left these kind of things for Dlc instead of have to do them to progress, like Dante’s Inferno but these trials seem pretty bullshit, especially to get the good ending.

I bet you needed to switch dimensions.

They needed to roll.
I can see where the confusion comes from though, I don’t think you ever needed to do that in the main game

Yoooooo!!!!! Woolie costume is so HYPE!!!!!!!!
November 6, 2014 at 4:38 pm
There’s a Woolie skin? I’m buying this!
November 6, 2014 at 6:07 pm
Should’ve had a custom Liam Tostada skin too.

Woolie my friend, our state lines aren’t physical boundaries, just lines on a map, usually marked by a quaint sign. Those giant excavators are used in surface mining.

i don’t think I can put myself through that, the first movie made me want to concave my own skull with a hammer.

These trials are sick and only big dick G’s can hang. With combos you have to be using the standing uppercut more often, or at all. Seriously you guys never use the upper or downer cuts.
The loop is three hit combo, immediately do a normal uppercut then jump to follow and do another three hit combo ending with (at this point) whatever you want! By the end of the above combo you can grab them out of the downer cut or kill them with a Frog Splash or let them land with the downer cut and setup another uppercut into three hit aerials.
The air is where you want the enemy. Stop letting them reset on the ground. By now the smart choice would have been to buy all the costumes as you played the game because a lot of them help during specific challenges.
The normal hits are awesome and setup everything. Using the devil suit an relying so much in specials was kind of a disappointment in the other videos. Also if you upgrade your stuff normally (stamina regents, cool downs and chunks) you rarely have to deal with a lack of stamina. You guys literally bought all the upgrades in the most backwards way possible.
Oh and that crazy long hall with green spikes on the floor and red on the platform? I solved it by launching from that little wall then jumping before I hit the platform with the spikes. The momentum will carry your double jump across the whole screen.
Also, you guys double jump like chumps.

The right stick to dodge is a bad choice btw. Use the left trigger so you don’t have to take you thumb off the jump button. Then you can roll dodge into a jump dodge more fluidly allowing you to make shallower jumps for avoiding more close together obstacles.

If by hand around your neck you mean the realization that Chie is the best and that Woolie is a wise wise man, then yes Liam, you SHOULD pick Chie!

*whispers* but Yukikoooo
November 6, 2014 at 7:22 pm
If I were Liam, I would be worried about Woolie trying to force me into a Chie cosplay in the future.

I knew you’d try to get the good ending, but the new costumes is just the icing on the cake.

For combos, the best choice is to weak throw enemies into as many other enemies as possible. It builds combo faster then any other strategy. In the challenge where throws are locked, the basic upper cut does the least damage and builds combo the most efficiently. Also if you repeatedly uppercut them into the wall you can stun lock them.
The intended solution to the spike room at the end is to dodge right before you hit the red spikes. This allows you to roll while on the small platform safely and gives you a small window to jump again.

I won’t lie to you, I bought this game as soon as I saw they made a Woolie skin.

It’s so funny to see them get hung up on at the same place I was in those challenges. That red platform is the ROLL. Love it.
