Well this ain’t no Sony press conference I tell you what.
June 17, 2015 at 1:03 am
I love nintendo. What a disappointing show 🙁 no punch out, no f-zero no metroid.
*walks back into refrigerator to wait for next year. *
i was kind of hoping there wuld be a zoom in on woolies face when metroid was announced
June 17, 2015 at 1:13 am
I was super disappointed with this one. Starfox looks unfinished as hell, and I wasn’t interested in anything else they had to show. I love Zelda, but I wanted a new LBW style game so fucking much I was upset when they showed they just had a 4 swords game. That Metroid thing looks like garbage. I’ve forgotten about everything else, so I guess that kind of speaks for everything else. There’s so much Nintendo could do that would just blow everyone’s minds, and they always go in the wrong direction. Welp, guess I’ll see what they have to say.
June 17, 2015 at 1:37 am
I desperately wanted a new Metroid Prime.
But not like this.
Not like this…
June 17, 2015 at 1:48 am
Bunch of crybabies. You know what this new Metroid is? It’s Metroid Prime X Monster Hunter X Republic Commando. Man up and enjoy a cool ass game.
“B-but muh metroid.”
Chill babies, Retro is probably going to announce a “real” Metroid soon, crybabies.
June 17, 2015 at 2:08 am
it’s metroid prime hunters + shovelware + the same visual fidelity that MPH had like 10 years ago
showing literally any scrap of a retro metroid game no matter how unfinished would have been infinitely better
June 17, 2015 at 2:58 am
Oh boo hoo hoo. Keep crying kid. This game played pretty good at E3 but because it isn’t a WiiU Metroid Prime it is shovelware? And what, visual fidelity? Are you a graphics whore? People like you don’t deserve to have an opinion on games.
Since when did people that like videogames became so thin skinned that they think games like this are a personal attack against them? Tough it up.
June 17, 2015 at 7:33 pm
Cal? I thought you were in hell still!
June 17, 2015 at 4:08 am
Why so angry, dookie?
June 17, 2015 at 4:14 am
Not angry, just dissapointed that people cry with a game that has a lot of potential from a great developer because it wasn’t exactly what they expected. These are the people that rather have nothing than having a fun little experience.
Besides, it’s obvious a more traditional metroid is coming out soon, it just wasn’t prepared yet.
June 17, 2015 at 4:18 am
His mother forgot to change his diaper.
June 17, 2015 at 8:07 am
How’s grade 8 goin for ya?
June 17, 2015 at 1:50 pm
I’m not the whiner that keeps crying that Metroid is dead. You’re the guys bitching that this is a betrayal and that Nintendo hates you. Stop taking shit like this personal, kiddo.
June 17, 2015 at 10:28 am
Yeaaaaaah, I’m sure if you call them crybabies hard enough something might happen.
June 17, 2015 at 5:37 pm
What a mature comment about actual frustration aimed at Nintendo who has a habit of ignoring a lot of IPs yearly that aren’t Mario and Zelda.
June 17, 2015 at 1:51 am
Man this was a pretty nothing conference, and I should have expected that since it was under an hour, but I was really hoping for more. Admittedly, I’m interested in that Zelda game, and I stay intrigued with Xenoblade, FExSMT, and FE:Fate, but I was hoping for so much more.
June 17, 2015 at 3:34 am
This was conference was soo badly embarrassing to watch.
June 17, 2015 at 3:45 am
Honestly, the Metroid game looks like a fantastic spin-off.
So what if it’s not a real Metroid game? Complaining it’s not a real Metroid game is like complaining that Mario Tennis isn’t a real Mario game.
I mean yeah, we haven’t got a proper Metroid game in awhile, but I just don’t get the hate. It looks really fun.
June 17, 2015 at 5:38 pm
You’re forgetting the comparison where Mario gets repeated games yearly and the last Metroid game was Other M. There is literally EVERY REASON for Metroid fans to feel dismayed.
June 17, 2015 at 4:07 am
38:36- You’re not the real me.
June 17, 2015 at 4:10 am
Nothing of interest this year. Oh well.
June 17, 2015 at 4:13 am
Was really bland
June 17, 2015 at 6:55 am
June 17, 2015 at 7:02 am
“Good thing they have subtitles,” they said, as their big, dumb face cam took up the space where the subtitles were, dood
June 17, 2015 at 7:25 am
That Raptor: Call of Shadow reference made me love you even more Matt.
June 17, 2015 at 8:17 am
This would’ve been infinitely more watchable if they played Groose’s theme the whole time.
June 17, 2015 at 9:54 am
At least it was better than Microsoft’s conference, I guess.
And I’m sure the Metroid game will be okay… probably.
June 17, 2015 at 10:46 am
Yes, Woolie, please, raise your voice to make your inane argument when Liam tries to actually comment on the video. Christ.
June 17, 2015 at 11:55 am
I don’t really feel like re-watching this conference, can someone kindly give a quick rundown on how they reacted and the grade for it, it’s probably bad lol.
June 17, 2015 at 12:15 pm
I am hype for K.K. Slider Amiibo. Do I have a problem?
June 17, 2015 at 12:53 pm
Well, it was no Sony conference, but I love Nintendo because they seem to be really passionate about what they’re making.
I wonder how well (or even if) Triforce Heroes will function as a singleplayer game. Because I really don’t care for multiplayer on the 3DS. Although I like redhead Red Link. That, with singleplayer and choice of which color you play as, would be awesome.
Happy Home Designer should have been a goddamn new Animal Crossing WITH the home design element…I hope there’s a K.K. amiibo. I’d buy it.
June 17, 2015 at 2:46 pm
So butthurt that they didn’t record video for the Square Enix conference.
June 17, 2015 at 4:08 pm
I like the parts where everyone yells things at the same time and you can’t hear anything they’re saying.
I also like that it’s more entertaining than the actual presentation.
June 17, 2015 at 7:32 pm
The puppets were cool though.
June 17, 2015 at 4:27 pm
I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that that was so disappointing or the fact that I (and I dare say a lot of people) saw it coming. Mostly stuff we already know about and stuff that is already out in Japan. I was sooo hoping for SOMETHING, like a new F-Zero or a new Metroid. Part of me even hoped they were lying about not showing Zelda. I love nintendo but this year Sony unquestionably blew them out of the water…
June 17, 2015 at 5:00 pm
Nintendo’s intros are top tier, at the very lest
June 17, 2015 at 5:35 pm
What a fucking disappointment. I say that as a hardcore Wii U owner too.
June 17, 2015 at 6:51 pm
Man,I can really read all the subtitles with you guys placed over them!
June 18, 2015 at 3:06 am
I would’ve much rather preferred a video of you guys watching the Square Enix Conference. That shit was hilarious in SO many ways. I hope they talk about it a lot in the next podcast at least.
June 18, 2015 at 4:25 am
Honestly Patt going ” Look he turned into a boat and attacked’ is making me lose it.
June 20, 2015 at 9:59 am
Liam is officially the only person excited about Metroid Prime Federation Force. Tell you what, it’s not Metroid.
June 21, 2015 at 1:40 am
Why the fuck did you think covering the subtitles was a good idea? THE TOP LEFT CORNER IS HARDLY EVER FUCKING USED. JUST PUT IT THERE GODDAMN IT.
July 2, 2015 at 5:33 pm
I KNOW, RIGHT?!
June 25, 2015 at 2:18 pm
“With Wii U, Nintendo wished to bring back ‘core’ gamers.”
You know what would bring me back? Another Prime game…or another Metroid game that isn’t as bright and cheery looking as Federation Force.
July 2, 2015 at 5:30 pm
“Good thing these have subtitles.”
Yeah, except your face-cam blocks like 50% of the subtitles, so anyone who doesn’t know how to speak Japanese misses 50% of what Miyamoto’s saying.
But apart from that, yeah. Good fucking thing these have subtitles, right?!
September 6, 2015 at 12:46 pm
So, I’m the only one happy about this direct, and the only one not completely disappointed?
Oh, o-okay then…
