Wait, where’s “Miller is a piece of shit traitor” coming from? He was screwed over and betrayed by everyone else first, including Big Boss. He’s bitter, and kind of crazy, but even then every accusation he made was proven right, he’s the only one against recruiting child soldiers, and while motivated by revenge, vows to shape Venom and/or Solid into people capable of stopping what Big Boss has become.

Any person who believes in themselves or has a personal sense of morality is portrayed as being an evil hypocrite, even if they’re right about literally everything. That’s kind of why I hate this culture right now, is because nobody has any sense of perspective about these kinds of things. Miller is probably the most reasonable character on his principles in this entire freakin’ series. But “principles” is equated with foolish idealism and pablum by the massive self-justifying self-righteous horde of buttholes that is the general public in most western nations today. “I don’t like authority or rules so everybody that believes in philosophy must be necessarily be mean and a jerk”. What a bunch of punks.

Well aren’t you just the righteous warrior, standing against the tide of evil?

Just tellin’ the truth.

What does believing in philosophy mean, and what does it have to do with authority? Miller has explicitly said that he’s abandoned his ideals to pursue revenge.

I don’t remember anyone suggesting they recruit child soldiers, but I do remember Miller having no objections to gunning them down in a cage.
