Go, Wooliam, go!
November 13, 2014 at 3:39 pm
Yes finally a Woolie+Liam LP 🙂
November 13, 2014 at 7:21 pm
Never seen that before. Nope.
November 13, 2014 at 3:45 pm
fun game,I just wish it had a better story.
November 13, 2014 at 3:52 pm
LIGHTS OUT! GUERILLA RADIO!
OH SHIT KORRA. Really loving the show; each season has been better than the last. Put it this way: I’m happier with Korra compared to TLA than I am with The Hobbit (fim) compared to LotR. But let’s see about that vidya, eh? And how much these two watch the show(s).
November 13, 2014 at 4:12 pm
FINALLY! I’m glad to see Woolie and Liam play this game! Not Platinum’s finest work (maybe their worst), but still quite an enjoyable game for the fans.
That being said, a little disappointed that both of them weren’t caught up with the show. I wanted some show discussion going on alongside with the gameplay. It’s a nitpick, I know! 😛

*splooshes all over*
November 13, 2014 at 5:31 pm
i fully support platinum and the zaibatsu in everything they do, and korra is a fine program on its own
but if this exact game were called “Elemental Girl” by “munitalp games” nobody would be talking about it, it wouldn’t have an LP here and it’d be sitting in a wal-mart bargain bin. it’s literally just name recognition.
November 13, 2014 at 5:37 pm
Thank you!! I’ve been debating about buying this game, thanks for saving me the trouble!
November 13, 2014 at 5:59 pm
when it got to the super special benders in what… season …3 I think I was put out because of the reallity of “bebnding is that those skills should come naturally to all benders and isn’t some high class thing because the elelments them selves are behaving with rules of modern science instead of the whole” its magic that we can move rocks” thing.
so the idea that a water bender can use her definitely not water molecules to tighten up and use as extensions of her body just doesn’t impress me story wise I mean call be a otaku piece of garbage but if something genuinely has plot it makes it hard to enjoy.
November 13, 2014 at 6:00 pm
plot holes* bending*an*
November 13, 2014 at 6:32 pm
The comment section here seems a lot less caustic than on YouTube. I might stick it out on the website for once.
November 13, 2014 at 7:51 pm
You also support the Zaibatsu directly by coming here than on YT.
November 13, 2014 at 7:28 pm
I had no complaints with this game. Was good fun for $15.
November 13, 2014 at 7:52 pm
A $15 Platinum game is still much better than most $60 full fledge games out there. And it’s Korra 😀
November 13, 2014 at 8:18 pm
Aint it funky that way :T
November 13, 2014 at 10:29 pm
Platinum deserves so much more, and why aren’t character action games popular? I thought it was the norm?
November 13, 2014 at 8:22 pm
Like 8 minutes in and Korra’s gotten her ass kicked twice. Good to see it’s matching the show’s M.O.
November 13, 2014 at 8:25 pm
So if Korra is Raiden, who is Jetstream Sam? That’s the real question here.
November 13, 2014 at 8:28 pm
eh, the b team gets the game and one of them doesnt even watch the show
November 13, 2014 at 8:37 pm
18:15 When Naga takes down 3 robots at once, ONE of which beat literally the entire main cast?
November 13, 2014 at 9:03 pm
31:00 When you think about it, Airbending was so bad that the creators had to genicide all but one person who could use it (and that person had 3 alternate options)
November 13, 2014 at 10:35 pm
Yeah, I agree about season two, except for the Beginning episodes. Those were great.
November 13, 2014 at 10:37 pm
It’s kinda hilarious how brutal this is compared to the actual show.
November 13, 2014 at 10:43 pm
I suck at this type of game and I know nothing about Avatar but this still looks really fun.
November 14, 2014 at 12:16 am
I’m sure you already know by now, but here is a little infodump about Korra:
She was allowed to compete in Pro Bending so long as she stuck to JUST bending water. Bending more than one element would be cheating as the rules of this fictional game require one bender of Fire, Earth, and Water each per team.
There was no required order for the teams to stand in, and they would often move horizontally and swap ‘lanes’ while dodging and lobbing attacks.
Korra was 16 in season one, and there is a three year timeskip between seasons 3 and 4. Seasons 1 through 3 take place over about half a year.
Iroh is almost-but-not-quite dead. He’s in the spirit world and managed to Jedi Force Ghost his way past death.
November 14, 2014 at 1:21 am
Love the improved intro, guys. Most people likely wouldn’t have heard the difference, but I did. You know how Pat’s a psycopath about framerates? That’s me and audio.
November 14, 2014 at 1:22 am
And now I can hear woolies fan freaking it’s shit out when loading the game. ._.
November 14, 2014 at 1:50 am
Season 2 isn’t that bad please watch it Liam Sama, and tell that pie stealer to get on last airbender!
November 14, 2014 at 12:59 pm

November 14, 2014 at 1:06 pm

Legend of Rising: 101
November 14, 2014 at 1:47 pm
A Mighty Morphin’ Platinum Game? Liam, I like the way you think.
November 14, 2014 at 5:43 pm
I haven’t seen much of this game yet, but if I know Platinum then they can turn a low budget game into something great. Plus the promise of IGN screwing the pooch like they did for Godhand is too much to pass up!
November 15, 2014 at 12:54 pm
Time for Woolie and Liam, to let ‘er rip! Unite lion!
