Tactical Espionage Fanwankery continues with Woolie and Liam!
August 10, 2014 at 3:54 pm
Alright, if the Zaibatsu was Diamond Dogs, who would be who?
August 10, 2014 at 4:09 pm
Matt would be Big Boss, Woolie would be Kaz, Pat would be Ocelot, and Liam… would be I dunno. D:
Liam would be a recruit.
August 10, 2014 at 4:21 pm
Liam would be the French chick from peacewalker
August 10, 2014 at 7:12 pm
surely Liam would be the Huge Weeb Otacon?
August 10, 2014 at 8:00 pm
Liam would be Quiet.
August 10, 2014 at 8:10 pm
Woolie kaz? Psshh…nah man. You gota do it like the turtles. Woolie woulda been Huey Cept Huey as we know is a traitor. Pat would either be paz cuz he loves controlling little girls or he’d be ocelot. Though wools could also be ocelot since ocelot is a liar. Matt is always big boss. And Liam I guess is paz Cept she’s dead..so uh……Liam is totally quiet. Pretty much none of these make sense but whatevs. Liam wears boy shorts so there.
August 10, 2014 at 4:11 pm
Matt=The Johnny Sasaki Equivalent, you know it exists somewhere
August 10, 2014 at 6:40 pm
Not technically a diamond dog, but casting Liam as any character but Otakon is just plain wrong.
August 10, 2014 at 7:31 pm
I agree, but for continuity’s sake, he should be Hal.
August 12, 2014 at 2:45 am
Pretty much this.
August 10, 2014 at 4:14 pm
I find it funny that Solid Snake was in Metal Gear 1, and they remade it for Big Boss. Very cool
August 10, 2014 at 5:00 pm
This was so cool i had a shiver down my back every 140.15 seconds
August 10, 2014 at 5:01 pm
I want to buy MGS V. I liked Ground Zeroes and thought it was worth the money. I’m still angry that they replaced David Hayter.
August 10, 2014 at 5:59 pm
eeyup. i loved GZ, i have every intention of buying phantom pain…but i dont, and will probably never like keifer as big boss. i mean, hell, sometimes you can hear his canadian accent slip through.
August 12, 2014 at 2:47 am
That’s what we in the business call “fanboyism”.
August 11, 2014 at 10:45 pm
I hayt it.
August 10, 2014 at 5:02 pm
I just wanted to let you guys know that it’s spelled déjà vu. Or alternatively that you don’t have to put accents on upper case letters.
IT’S NOT OVER YET!… Or is it?
August 10, 2014 at 5:05 pm
Actually MGS1 was GENE, MGS2 was SCENE, MGS3 was MEME and MGS4 was SENSE. Thank you, I’ll just continue not getting laid now.
August 10, 2014 at 5:11 pm
or maybe you will cause youre wrong to.
MGS1 = GENE (Genes creating ultimate soldier/determining one’s “fate” and person)
MGS2 = MEME (what the patriots tried to control and what Snake told Raiden to pass on)
MGS3 = SCENE (The times creating different scenes that would turn old allies into enemies and vice versa)
MGS4 = SOME-BULLSHIT-MADE-UP-WORD-THAT-RHYMES-WITH-THE-OTHER-3-THAT-MEANS-SHOWING-SOMETHING-WHEN-YOU-DIE-THROUGH-ACTIONS-INSTEAD-OF-WORDS-WHICH-MAY-OR-MAY-NOT-BE-UNDERSTOOD.
August 10, 2014 at 7:21 pm
You’re actually super right! My memory failed me. I blame video games.
August 10, 2014 at 5:09 pm
What was that sound in the background near the end of the video, it sounded like buzzzing or moaning? I was a little creeped out by it.
August 10, 2014 at 5:12 pm
Woolie to me will always be the scaredy cat of the group
August 10, 2014 at 5:17 pm
There should have been a Single Action Army revolver somewhere on the island.
“Six bullets! More than enough to kill anything that moves.”
August 10, 2014 at 5:25 pm
Why won’t Kojima just give in and give us a MGS remake already, fucking giving us blue balls first in MGS4 and now in this one.
August 10, 2014 at 5:40 pm
Try playing Twin Snakes if you’ve got blue balls, but sadly you’ll find yourself cringing non stop.
August 10, 2014 at 5:31 pm
So every mission and DLC in this game happens in the same base? Is this real life? How is this game anything but extremely overpriced?
August 10, 2014 at 6:39 pm
There are a solid 5 hours of content (without replaying hard mode and challenges and such), each mission has different shit hidden in the base, but yes it is all the same level.
See that sounds like fucking torture to me. I get they hide different Riddler Trophies around the base for you to look at, but it’s just the exact same base. Every time. They couldn’t even have made base tiles and generated the map every time so you could get a slightly different layout? How is this worth more than 10$?
August 10, 2014 at 6:16 pm
IN THEATERS AUGUST 8TH!!!
August 10, 2014 at 6:30 pm
Oh god, i only just realised why scene is always capitalized. It’s the GENE, MEME, SCENE shit
August 10, 2014 at 7:44 pm
How does Big Boss remember stuff that Solid Snake did…. IN THE FUTURE?!
Why are they not using the classic Snake skin? They must be casuals.
August 10, 2014 at 8:09 pm
What’s with the scary humming at the end dudes?
August 10, 2014 at 8:46 pm
I remember when Metal Gear was more then just fanservice.
August 10, 2014 at 8:51 pm
Oh, the memories! The feels! I fucking love you Kojima you crazy bastard! I still think this is kind of overpriced, but I don’t think that changes just how good and worth it this is.
August 10, 2014 at 10:16 pm
you try hards
August 10, 2014 at 11:09 pm
Is it just me or does the correct tone sound like the guitar sting from War Pigs?
August 10, 2014 at 11:12 pm
It’s not the correct tone it’s the next question tone
August 11, 2014 at 7:50 am
lp asuras wrath pls
August 11, 2014 at 8:27 am
You guys missed the thing where if you call Kaz while looking at the game logos there is some cool dialog.
August 12, 2014 at 12:39 am
While I love MGS1, this mission felt really heavy handed with the references, putting aside the fact that MGS1 has nothing to do with the events in Ground Zeroes/MGSV anyway. And to not use the original voice-clips (with Hayter) and used Solid Snake’s lines with Kiefe was kind of gross.
Not even halfway through this mission I realized I just wanted to play the real deal MGS1 and did so after I was done.
I get that it was DLC and that it was for fun, but damn. It’s bittersweet, but way more bitter than sweet.
August 12, 2014 at 1:39 am
I don’t like Sutherlands Snake but I definitely can deal with it. Especially since he barely says any words. How they handle him in Phantom Pain will determine how I feel of him overall.
August 13, 2014 at 1:20 pm
Watching this makes me think…somewhere Pat is watching this sweating buckets and yelling at his computer. Lol love pat. “Drop your shield woolie!”, Pat, the Angry Philosopher.
September 3, 2014 at 5:13 am
I felt pretty good about knowing all the questions for the quiz accept the ending theme. I’m also wearing my Fox Hound Shirt, which makes me wonder if I picked this video because of that, or if it was just a coincidence
September 7, 2014 at 11:39 pm
What the fuck is that creepy humming at the end?
