THE SICKEST KEGGER HISTORY HAS EVER KNOWN, PART 2.
December 18, 2014 at 3:07 pm
For a while this feels like yet another episode of Pat Looks at Thing.
December 18, 2014 at 3:08 pm
I love how Pat’s voice was wavering between excitement and madness during the Ivory King fight.

December 18, 2014 at 3:15 pm
Aww Yea Ivory King you going down punk Bitch
December 18, 2014 at 3:20 pm
You don’t know how much I love this LP, you guys, Dark Souls II is on sale on Steam and I’m fucking getting it!
December 18, 2014 at 3:22 pm
I terms of Dark Souls, I gotta my Raime is my #3, with Ivory and Alonne being tied as my #1 and #2 fights. It also really helps that both have AMAZING OSTs and the fights felt more emotionally fueled.
December 18, 2014 at 3:26 pm
Hey, me again, sometimes I forget this is your day(andsometimesnight)job. I just wanna say that even with all the fuckups and people complaining I think you are the most professional streamers/letsplayers that I’ve seen and your comments about game mechanics are very insightful and helpful for an amateur developer.
December 18, 2014 at 3:51 pm
Good thing this wasn’t the final, give me more souls!
December 18, 2014 at 4:09 pm
I don’t know what amazes me the most, the fact that the DLC bosses and level design are vastly superior to the base game’s or the fact that in spite of that the co-op area bosses SUCK. And the co-op area themselves aren’t all the good either in my opinion.
December 18, 2014 at 4:12 pm
Sir Alonne was the best of the co-op areas, and while I did enjoy Twin Aava, getting there sucked. The Iron Passage and the sunken area were definitely crap for both ends.
December 18, 2014 at 4:11 pm
Also, Pat, the curse was not defeated. The crowns are a bandaid to the problem.
December 18, 2014 at 4:14 pm
Oh yeah, and I’m glad as hell they will attempt Alonne!
December 18, 2014 at 4:53 pm
Oh Shit! I wasnt paying attention to how many crowns he had, but Woolie did it! Congrats shitlords! =D
December 18, 2014 at 5:04 pm
the tears fall as one episode is left
December 18, 2014 at 5:14 pm
Woolie better wear that fucking crown when he defeats alonne
December 18, 2014 at 5:42 pm
Guys, uh, didn’t you say you’d do the DLC challenge areas, as well as the Dark Diver stuff?
I can understand not doing the snowstorm thing, but you diiiid say you’d go back to do it later way earlier on.
December 18, 2014 at 5:43 pm
I feel sad that this LP is coming to an end
December 18, 2014 at 5:45 pm
In preparation for Bloodborne, Pat and Woolie should do a Demon’s Souls playthrough. I’ll even make a special character for them to encounter, if they do. Encountering Woolsworth 5.0 with my bare hands.
December 18, 2014 at 7:31 pm
But Darklurker, tho. 😛
December 18, 2014 at 9:26 pm
The invader wasn’t lagging, he knew how to backstab.
December 18, 2014 at 9:36 pm
Uh, you do find out about what the curse is? Even in just the base game it’s not hard to reach a conclusion (pretty sure VaatiVidya had a video up on this before the DLC), and Vendrick straight up tells you. The curse is the world returning to its natural state, before the first flame spontaneously ignited. An unchanging world filled with mindless hollows, hollow being the “true shape” of man, as Vendrick calls it.
December 18, 2014 at 9:47 pm
And Vendrick did not achieve the cure he had been seeking. He knew about the “cure” Woolie now has, and possibly even achieved it himself, but gave it up. Because it’s ultimately useless, and not what anyone is actually seeking. It is not a curse for the curse, as it does not cure it. It just nullifies the symptoms. But you’re still sick. If you lose or give away all the power, then you’ll be at risk of going hollow again. And even if you’re okay with that, it’s limited to a single person, and only a person who can go through a shitton of hardships. Congrats, you’re the only one sane in a world filled with insane zombies. Might as well burn yourself at the first flame then, and restart the cycle anew.

This LP has been going on for so long, it feels like an old friend. I love the Zaibatsu’s other LPs, don’t get me wrong. There’s always something hype to watch on this site. But this LP? The moment it went up I squealed for joy, and I’ve savored literally every episode.
Thanks to Pat and Woolie for putting this up for us. The internet is a big place, but entertainment of this caliber is rare.
December 21, 2014 at 3:14 am
Pat! You need to sic Woolie on the Darklurker! It’s the one optional boss left, after Sir Alonne, that he needs to take out! The others don’t matter.
December 22, 2014 at 5:16 am
FUCKING LOVE THE BANTER AND THE POST COMMENTARY FAVORITE LP’S
December 22, 2014 at 5:18 am
HAHAHA silence and then “this is it” YESSSSS. fuckin dark souls.
December 22, 2014 at 3:33 pm
Now that Pat and Woolie are done with Dark Souls 2, I humbly request a Dark Souls 1 playthrough with Matt and Liam. Pretty Please?
I would want Pat to be there but I’ve had enough of “HOLY SHIT DARK SOULS WAS AMAZING!!”, and other comments such as “ORENSTEIN AND SMOUGH IS THE GREATEST BOSS BATTLE EVER DESIGNED BY MORTAL HANDS!!!!”
I want this to continue but with a different spin on it y’know?
