They should really play Monster Hunter. Even if it’s just a solo Pat thing it would be cool.

Can’t teams be up to four players? It would be neat to see all four of them go at together.

I’m not sure how to feel about the Elana fight because of the extra enemies, but I really liked the Sihn fight. If ever there was a fight that shows you why there should be fewer humanoid bosses in the game it’s that one.

Add a few 180 degree turns and some sick looking mid air backflips and Sinh is baaaaasicaly a Rathalos/Rathian

King Woolsworth, the Dragonslayer.
That has a nice ring to it.

Sinh truly captures what made DS 1 so good. There are so many fights in that game that are THAT GOOD.
Such a good DLC. What a great story. What cool characters. From? THIS. MORE. Please. 🙂

That was fucking cool.

I’m pretty sure the dragon in the old trailer is not Sinh. That one had a third eye, and so is probably a lingering dragon like Kalameet. Sinh does not have the third eye, and is probably a Slumbering Dragon (there seem to be three classifications of “true” dragons, going by the existence of the Eternal, Lingering, and Slumbering Dragoncrest Rings in both Dark Souls games).

Pat didn’t mention this, but Sinh has locational damage. If you attack his head /chest you do more damage than if you attacked his sides/tail. Attacking his sides/tail also does more durability damage to your weapon.
Also, Sinh is one of the more interesting bosses on an sl1 playthrough. The majority of bosses go the same as they would on a normal playthrough, only differences being you have to dodge as opposed to block, and dodging must be more precise since you have fewer iframes. This is not true for Sinh, since most of his attacks have such longlasting hitboxes that you can’t iframe through them with high agility, let alone as an sl1. Pretty much all of his attacks oneshot as well, so you can’t rely on tanking and chugging at all. As a result, it gets to the point where you can reliably predict what Sinh is going to do. I just think it’s worth mentioning, since this is only true for a few of the bosses in the series as a whole (i.e. Demon’s, Dark, Dark 2); one’s that are brutal enough that you can’t rely on cheesy tactics or gear to take down, but that you just have to git gud enough (at least if you’re depriving yourself as you do in an sl1 run).
