Tommy-boy, I thought you were a cool buddy guy. Then you started dropping power geysers everywhere.

Why do I always get here when the new Dark Souls episode comes out?!

Wow. Woolie did way better against Thomas than I thought he would.

Woolie congrats you’re beginning to get your mojo back 😀
ALSO YEAH POWER GEYSERS!!!

Pat, there is no more “power within” spell in Dark Souls 2, unless you count that buff that shaves your health for magic damage and is a sorcery spell. Likely, he used that sweat pyromancy that reduces fire damage.

No such thing as a good clown!

Wait, is Woolie going to start using the Sanctum crossbow? I think he’ll prefer it to the heavy.

I know this LP and dragging on and stuff, but please at least get the Bone Fist in Ivory King. I want to see Woolie’s reaction to it.

More souls for me!

This remains my favorite of the three DLCs, mainly because of the presentation and level design, but also a little because of the story. It makes the other two a little disapointing in the sense that they aren’t as good in those aspects.

Woolie, if you lose a little bit of health during a fight, don’t immediately try to heal as fast as possible. That’s what can get you killed a lot of the time. If you have a one hit kill enemy like those sorcerer ladies that shoot hexes at you, and they’re the only enemy it the room, it’s safer to just kill them when you can instead of run and heal, because the enemies are designed to immediately attack as soon as you’re vulnerable, like when healing. Just a little tip that might help your gameplay a little bit 😀

Hang on… Is it ACTUALLY viable to play the game as a Pyromancer? Cuz Jester Thomas is so fucking sick, although I was surprised Woolie said Pat “mentioned” the guy, since they had him as help for one boss and they both said the guy was cool.

NPC invaders have infinite casts and stamina, so they can cast without ever stopping. Pyromancy is quite powerful, though. Just don’t rely on it exclusively.

Good job on Jester Thomas.
When I fought him, I managed to get him my first time too, but it was one heck of a fight. I was sort of a heavy/hexer hybrid at the time. I fought him in the room he spawned in, and after hurting him several times only to have him heal, I used Dark Fog on him and that gave me the edge I needed to win. I couldn’t believe how strong he was.
Can’t wait to see how Woolie does against the bosses. Fume Knight is still my personal favorite, but the ones in Sunken King are also really good (except for the one at the end of the optional area…>_>)

Fun fact: if you cast Profound Still to prevent him from casting, he pulls out a Short sword.

Mirrah Greatsword and Old Mirrah Greatsword are dex scaling greatswords, in the base game. Also why wouldn’t you need dexterity to wield a sword in a manner more elaborate than swinging it around like a club.
