Let’s take this baby for a test drive.

Why the kobold?

August 24, 2014 at 11:48 pm
Patrick don’t give it too much thought.
August 24, 2014 at 10:50 pm
We’re all so proud of you for being the first person to comment on this video. Thank you for having the intelligence to realize that we all care deeply about that fact and leaving a comment in all caps, to help us remember this glorious day. Truly men a hundred years from now will sing songs of the time where Justus had the intellect to declare “OMG FINALLY FIRST”, much to the awe of the other denizens of superbestfriendsplay.com. If we further examine the wisdom of this text, we can see that in saying “FINALLY”, our savior Justus has been trying to leave his mark of FIRST on the comments of many a video, letting us know that his life apparently revolves around infecting the comment sections of internet videos with this asinine garbage. Truly I am in awe.
August 25, 2014 at 12:46 am
mad because he didn’t get first comment
August 25, 2014 at 8:24 pm
Very mild annoyance of those “first” comments aside, perhaps you should reevaluate your priorities in life.
September 9, 2014 at 4:48 pm
Shut the fuck up just let people have their fun, if you get pissed by it then say it to yourself. So fuck off with you not having any fun
August 24, 2014 at 9:17 pm
The beginning of a new era folks
August 24, 2014 at 9:26 pm
Woolsworth 3.0. He grew up so fast… but he still has a long way to go.
August 25, 2014 at 1:49 pm
I WANNA BE .. THE VERRYY BEST TAHT NO ONE EVER WAS!!!!
August 24, 2014 at 9:33 pm
this LP is about to get way hyper
August 24, 2014 at 9:35 pm
I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since epsiode 1, I knew there was no way that it would stay as a lame ass faith/str build.
August 24, 2014 at 9:42 pm
Yeah, Woolsworth the Third! Time to see you in action!
*watches Woolie get invaded*
Oh, Woolsworth the Third. 🙁
August 24, 2014 at 9:52 pm
This new build is awesome!
August 24, 2014 at 9:53 pm
I hope they don’t do much more with that pyromancy, I detest people who half ass pyromancy. Get gud half assing chumps
August 24, 2014 at 10:17 pm
Oh god, I know he didn’t have the practice to do it, but when he was fighting Ezio I screamed “PARRY THAT SPAMMING MOTEHR FUCKER WOOLIE!”
August 24, 2014 at 10:18 pm
Oh good, my Dark Souls crack
August 24, 2014 at 10:21 pm
i like to think that woolsworth was shunned by the gods that he put so much faith in, leading him down a path of blind rage and strength
August 24, 2014 at 11:45 pm
August 24, 2014 at 10:40 pm
That Ezio guy wasn’t a cool guy what so ever
August 24, 2014 at 10:43 pm
The hounds begin to smell the scent of blood and come for Woolsworth’s life! If you are to battle our dark lord you best hone your skills. If he is to take your life, and he will do so eventualy, it should be the life of a mighty warrior…crying…like a bitch.
Woah. What happened? I blacked out again…why do I taste blood?
August 24, 2014 at 10:55 pm
If you use a greatsword and use a twohanded strong attack most things get launched into the air including some bosses like the skeleton lords and they lust lie on the ground totally vulnerable
August 24, 2014 at 11:21 pm
I really don’t know shit about Dark Souls, but his is my favorite playthrough among the current ones, for some reason. It’s just to much fun,
August 25, 2014 at 6:37 am
I can relate to that, don’t really understand like the terms or importance of certain items and stats, but it is fun to watch and try to learn what the game is all about. Plus it’s just really amusing seeing their reactions when something goes terribly wrong.
August 24, 2014 at 11:33 pm
The legend of woolsworth has started a new chapter.
August 24, 2014 at 11:49 pm
I came here to see woolie die.
August 25, 2014 at 12:33 am
Crypt Blacksword here, Greatswords are for laming babbies.
August 25, 2014 at 12:44 am
To hear Woolie freak out over 400 damage is cute more so when it doesent get real intill you hit 800 raw.
August 25, 2014 at 1:32 am
Master Blaster runs Harvest valley!
Hey! Stop circle strafing!
August 25, 2014 at 2:34 am
You know, I find the best way to brute force your way through poison regions is just get a shitload of lifegems and just pop them as you go. One will almost completely offset the poison damage, and a second will have you healing through it.
Also, you could probably unequip the shield and just block with the greatsword until you get your equip load a bit higher. Sure it lets more damage through, but you seem to rely on rolling as your primary defense and I think that shield weighs enough that you can get out of fat-rolling by stowing it.
August 25, 2014 at 2:35 am
You fuckers need to learn to two-hand that beauty more often. The start-up is so slow and the stamina usage so high, that blocking is often useless, so just two-hand it and 1/2-shot everything.
August 25, 2014 at 3:15 am
its not that hes bad its just 24 episodes in and he’s getting a “circle strafing tutorial” 🙁 Woolie spike that learning curb
August 25, 2014 at 6:55 am
To be fair to Woolie: His first character was a sorc, so he just kept his distance and fired stuff at enemies; his second build that we have been seeing was the mace with shield, or blocking attacks and then face-fucking the enemy with the mace.
Now that he has a slower weapon he can’t do that anymore and will have to rely on the circle strafe more. Of course it would have been handy to learn and keep focussing on (and then people would probably be complaining that Pat wants to teach him too much/is overbearing) but I can understand why it took him some time.
August 25, 2014 at 5:19 am
Wow, that Ezio guy is a fucking scrub.
August 25, 2014 at 6:05 am
I hope Pat lets Woolie play other weapons than just the Greatsword, too. One single weapon for the entire playthrough would get kinda boring.
My recommendation: Red Iron Twinblade.
August 25, 2014 at 2:55 pm
That’s really up to Woolie not Pat, If you listened to Woolie in part 23 he said it himself “All week all I’ve been thinking about is the Greatsword”
The only thing holding them back from using other weapons is the lack of upgrade materials as of yet.
August 25, 2014 at 8:10 am
Shakespear, Patrick, Shakespear :
To die is to be a counterfeit, for he is but the counterfeit of
a man who hath not the life of a man; but to counterfeit dying,
when a man thereby liveth, is to be no counterfeit, but the true
and perfect image of life indeed. The better part of valor is
discretion, in the which better part I have sav’d my life.
August 25, 2014 at 9:54 am
I feel like you should’ve started with something smaller than the greatsword, just so you could get used to the feel. But ‘ey, ‘das just me.
August 25, 2014 at 11:42 am
He had the mace, and for a first melee weapon, it’s pretty good. But in Dark Souls, if you want to learn how to use a weapon, swinging it is the fastest and best way to.
August 25, 2014 at 11:41 am
Woolie, put away that shield and two-hand your Greatsword, roll instead of block, and hit with the enormous bonus of using a strength weapon with two hands
August 25, 2014 at 1:50 pm
HAHAHAHA pat and woolie scared of bioslime confirmed
August 25, 2014 at 5:23 pm
I kept yelling “two hand your Greatsword” >_<
August 25, 2014 at 6:31 pm
If you talk to the armor merchant with 0 souls he gives you armor that increases equip load
August 25, 2014 at 7:22 pm
dark souls should just become berzerk
August 25, 2014 at 7:30 pm
I like to think of Woolsworth’s evolution as a sort of Legacy thing like in JoJo.
Woolie is now in the Jotaro stage, he has acquired his stand.
August 25, 2014 at 7:54 pm
I’m starting to doubt Pats knowledge on Dark souls in general…
August 25, 2014 at 8:26 pm
He doesn’t have everything memorized and he does has a lamer strategy than mine. I can generally accept it because everyone plays differently to an extent. Doesn’t mean I won’t groan noticeably.
August 25, 2014 at 8:00 pm
August 25, 2014 at 9:33 pm
Pretty good. I personally tend to favor greatswords (the weapon type) over ultra greatswords. At this point in the game, my weapon of choice was the Drangleic Sword. But this makes me want to experiment with ultra greatswords a little more.
August 25, 2014 at 9:46 pm
Woolie, two-hand your sword nigga. Ezio made you look like a bitch cause you’re afraid. Just two hand that thing and you’ll know no fear.
August 25, 2014 at 11:25 pm
>Ending in the middle of a sentence
>Two closing clips in a row
Woolie’s salt is corroding the videos, it’d seem.
August 25, 2014 at 11:41 pm
Should use it two-handed Woolie :p
August 26, 2014 at 1:09 am
Selling unwanted crap to Gavlan is actually worth it, in my opinion.
What’s the point in have five pairs Hollow Soldier Armor? Or Blue Cracked Eye Orbs when you’re not a part of the Blue Sentinels (I play offline unfortunately, and each orb goes for 500 souls)? Maybe you’re farming for one or both of the Gyrm sets, and you get three pairs of gloves and two of the same armor. Sell that shit for 500 souls a piece.
August 27, 2014 at 9:39 pm
I’m sure you know this by now but don’t try to roll through the poison pits. Rolling through it will cover your whole body in the poison and will take a lot longer to wash off than if you’re just waist deep in it. So just run through it. It’s slower but I guarantee you won’t get poisoned.
September 5, 2014 at 6:54 pm
Pat let him sell that useless junk to gavlin. why keep 2 hollow soilder armor Woolie is not gonna use it
