Patsworth soon discovered that all of life’s problems were answered with a two-handed axe swirl.
Then he turned a corner, opened a door and met The Most Suspicious Man In The World™.

I knew they would be sending him to the Clinic.
May 31, 2016 at 7:41 pm
well they didn’t want everyone at the chapel to lose their face
May 5, 2015 at 3:39 pm
3 points into Endurance…I just…why?
May 5, 2015 at 11:10 pm
Few more and they get an extra dodge roll out of it.
May 6, 2015 at 1:35 pm
I know, I sat at 12 endurance the whole game. Pat either is counting on using ridiculously stamina-intensive weapons, or he doesn’t realize that it’s not a great dump stat.
May 5, 2015 at 3:52 pm
Oh Amygdala, oh Amygdala… have mercy on the poor bastard!
May 5, 2015 at 3:57 pm
Aww man, by not attacking that guy you deprived yourself of one of the hypest fights in the entire game. I fucking lost my shit when that dude exploded into lightning on my playthrough.
May 5, 2015 at 4:04 pm
Having big health and stamina helps and all, but GOD DAMN are you missed out on that cannon. It compliments a strength build so well as a big explosive panic button. I mean it one shots most other players.
May 5, 2015 at 5:06 pm
Yeah, the Cannon is legitimately my favourite firearm in the game. It’s difficult to find a moment to use, but so rewarding – it feels like the real big, slow grenade cannons in Armored Core.
Wanted to see you guys fight the beast aha oh well
May 5, 2015 at 4:30 pm
Does anyone know if you can still get the special item off of Iosefka if you send that guy to the clinic?
May 5, 2015 at 7:40 pm
That item is tied to a Story point, as long as you don’t kill her before then you will be able to get it.
May 5, 2015 at 9:12 pm
If I were a gambling man, I’d say they will kill her at their first opportunity (which will be in the next part or 2) and totally miss out on the item.
May 5, 2015 at 5:28 pm
You nimrods missed a boss-fight with Darkbeast Parl’s little brother.
May 5, 2015 at 5:38 pm
I know not everything is a Bersersk reference, but the Cannon’s description sounds EXACTLY like how they describe the Dragonslayer in the manga.
May 5, 2015 at 7:31 pm
God damn-it, every time woolie plays it pisses me off because i’m screaming, MOOOVE AND PICK UP THE FUCKING ITEM
May 5, 2015 at 7:55 pm
Gotta go slow! Woolie’s pace isn’t so bad now though considering they’re halfway thru the forest atm. Then again Woolie might get wrecked by gigantic snake piles, jellybean men, or swamp pigs. Then pat will just Plow through everything with the Ludwig. Owns everything in this area.

I wonder what part Pat will admit that STR/SKL is useful? Like not placing it at the softcap at least will bite them in the ass later when bosses have huge amounts of health.
May 5, 2015 at 11:09 pm
Those are battles of attrition, you don’t need damage output in those
May 5, 2015 at 9:16 pm
Seriously cannot believe they STILL won’t upgrade strength. Up your damage, for christs sake. But NOOOOOOO, PUMP ENDURANCE. lol, Pat, you’re smarter than this, bud.
May 5, 2015 at 9:51 pm
I sent the dude to the church… cool fight but bad idea went back and left the same “Reeks of Beast ” note
May 5, 2015 at 11:06 pm
I find Pat’s logic really odd. Do you want to boost your health so you can take another hit from normal enemies in a few levels, endurance so you can do an extra dodge in 5 levels, or damage so in 5 levels enemies are taking a hit less. I should mention that your attacks frequently get multipliers so you’ll take a hit or so off from what boss’s need in 2-3 levels. Gonna pump endurance until you get an item you want, like that thing you have right now that you want to use but can’t?
May 6, 2015 at 4:31 am
I think his entire point-of-view is governed by what he gets now, or THINKS he’s getting now, versus what he’ll get later. Seeing health or stamina go up now, represented by a bar getting longer, makes him feel like he is tangibly stronger than before. “Oh, I have that extra millimeter of health. That could save my life!”
He doesn’t seem to understand the concept of a percentage stacking with repeated use, and so the long term is nebulous and scary to him. Without huge gains, like what he gets from upgrading the weapons, he doesn’t “feel” the boost, and so to him, it isn’t there. He needs to not hold leveling up in such immediate high esteem, and not be afraid to work toward an actual build. If he’ll let himself, he would benefit greatly from studying actual STR builds in the Souls games and this one, then comparing what he finds to what he has now.
He needs to realize that it takes several levels to get another swing off of a weapon, and dashing is almost always going to be an option unless you’re playing poorly. Life normally comes off in huge chunks, so the hope of surviving via magic pixel is a pipe dream–a security blanket clashing with actual deadly weapons. But if you can keep the enemy from surviving via magic pixel, or take down a boss in less swings, then it makes more sense.
May 6, 2015 at 12:26 am
Seriously what the fuck, first you get the cannon but don’t decide to pump Str even though your using a wep that uses str and then you fucking go on the longest nothing quest? jesus fuck you guys need to edit out the load times or put more vid because there barely was any progress made.
May 6, 2015 at 3:55 am
Pat’s logic on the Str Vs Everything else is killing me. The stronger the hit the less swings it takes to Get Your DAMN Blood Back. Kill a guy in 2 swings and you don’t have to roll. Strength first everything else later. But I’m still enjoying this LP though (even though 1 of these guys is farther along his on playthrough than he is letting on. Pat)
May 6, 2015 at 4:41 am
You know what might be nice? Instead of passing the controls off on death, what if they switched off every 15 minutes? And for that 15 minutes, they keep playing, even if they die.
That way, we get to see them both play on each episode. It’d be more even.
Of course, this whole LP is pretty much a done deal already…

Poison knives can be incredibly effective and on the right enemies it only takes 2-4 knives to poison an enemy. Basically if you can’t poison with 2-4 knives don’t bother trying.
The cannon is AMAZING it can be a one shot in PvP and can stagger big bosses while doing huge damage. If you really think about it if you were planning on using QS bullets on a boss and find it can’t be staggered using regular guns 10 (12 with new patch) can be worth it.
May 14, 2015 at 6:50 pm
How the fuck does this shit keep happening? I missed that NPC completely! do I just suck?
May 14, 2015 at 11:45 pm
21:57 That is some Lovecraftian craziness! O_o;
